Not even a remarkable heart-shaped closing pyramid can dispatch the skills leader NU Cheer Squadron shocking the entire crowd with their win over the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe and the UP Pep Squad - both perennial winners in the UAAP Cheerdance Competition.
NU Cheer Squadron now joins UP and UST as 3-peat winners.
Everyone in the SM Mall of Asia Arena was disappointed when the Pep Squad ng Bayan was called as 2nd Runner-up. Many account their being first performers as the reason why there is score variance.
