Chinese Toddler, Hit by SUV; Mom Caught Texting during Incident

Last August 21, an accident happened in Zhengzhou, China that shocked a lot of people over the internet. While his mother was texting, this two year-old boy was ran over by an SUV. The incident happened near a shopping mall.

According to sources who witnessed the incident, the toddler was just playing along the sidewalk of the mall. His mother was busy playing on her phone, tinkering it without looking at her child. Because of this, she forgot to focus her attention to her child.

What happened next left her surprised. She didn't know that her negligence, tinkering her phone, while her kid got hit by a white SUV just around the parking lot. The SUV driver was identified to be Wang and has been taken to the police station.

Many of the people who saw the incident, including those who saw these photos in social media were dismayed. They shared their comments online, mostly, blaming the mom for being inattentive to her son's actions. 

For them, she should have not let her kid get out of her sight, especially because he's just 2 years old. While mobile phones help us in many ways, especially in communication - these can really cause dangers in our lives. Like the tragedy that happened today with this mother and son.
